The Hall has undergone a complete make-over.  It has been totally redecorated, with new double-glazed windows, curtains, blinds and even window-seat cushions.
The old eight-foot florescent lights have gone - replaced with modern track fittings which, besides providing full illumination when needed, can also create subdued lighting for more intimate occasions.
We have installed an 4200 lumen overhead projector, with a 2.4m wide drop-down screen, and mixer and amplifier to enable presentations to be displayed easily from laptops - whether for business meetings or for showing wedding pictures on the day!   There will be an extra charge for the use of the AV equipment, but it can certainly add to the quality of your experience at Chedzoy Village Hall!

The Main Hall is 14 metres long,
and 6 metres wide.
It can accommodate 100 persons
seated cinema style,
or 80 persons for dining or dancing.
There are sufficient chairs for 100 people,
and 26 easily-erected 2.5 x 1 metre tables
There is also a Committee room which measures 4 metres by 4 metres

Adjacent to the Committee Room is a kitchen, equipped with modern
catering equipment, including ovens, 'fridges, and a dishwasher.   
There is sufficient crockery and cutlery for up to 100 persons,
with kettles, teapots, and two electric hot-water urns.    
An on-demand unit supplies hot water.
A cooler 'fridge keeps wine cool, and hot trolleys keep food warm
